16-year-old Liana was born and raised in Switzerland and is of Italian-Swiss descent. From a young age, she discovered her passion for music and performance.
Not only is she a passionate singer and songwriter, but she is also a drummer and guitarist. Over the years, she has participated in various music competitions, gaining valuable experience. In 2020, she was a finalist in the kids’ version of The Voice Germany, and in 2019, she earned second place in the international Hit Like a Girl competition for female drummers. These achievements have not only helped her grow as a musician but have also made her a role model for young girls around the world.
One of her proudest moments came in 2023 when she won the Little Prix Walo, a prestigious Swiss award recognizing emerging talent in show business and performing arts. This award was especially meaningful to her as she performed her self-written song on national television, marking an important milestone in her musical journey.
Additionally, she was selected as a Junior Ambassador for the Hit Like a Girl campaign, becoming part of a global community of talented young female drummers and beatmakers. This platform has allowed her to step up as a role model for girls and promote a healthy lifestyle, values she continues to champion with pride.
In June 2022, she released her first self-written single, “Can’t Stop Me Now”, followed by “A Different Kind of Christmas” and “Friends No Matter What”. These releases are just the beginning of her musical journey, with many exciting projects still in the works.
Liana’s musical interests are diverse and constantly evolving. She is passionate about a wide range of genres, including pop, R&B, soul, rap, rock, and blues. She is particularly drawn to music that tells a story and conveys emotion, whether through lyrics, melody, or rhythm.
Her motto is: “We girls can do anything we put our minds to.” She is determined to boldly follow her dreams and is always seeking new challenges and opportunities to grow.
